Ragdolls used to be a sheer minority in the Japanese households in general, and it was unusual to see one except in cat shows. Nowadays, however, more and more people are getting interested in Ragdolls. The "Time Out" section of the Japan Times (a daily English newspaper circulated in Japan), issued on Nov. 26th, 1999, featured our Ragdolls with the headline saying Ragdoll is rapidly gaining popularity in Japan. It is also obvious from the increasing number of ads in a monthly magazine on cats. Someday ad pages in the magazine will be like that of Cat Fancy magazine, being full of ads from Ragdoll breeders. Nothing else would make me happier, because my objective in opening the website was to show as many people as possible what an attractive breed Ragdoll is. It is its attractiveness and my love of the breed that led me to become a hobby breeder. I heartily hope that the number of Ragdoll lovers will continue to grow.
